Technical Department

AFM’s “Technical Department” is the heart of the company’s product development. Currently, the sector incorporates the activities of analysis of products in budget, development of new parts, simulation of solidification and filling, establishment and monitoring of process standards, including carrying out training and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

It works with CAD and CAM tools such as SolidEdge® and NX CAM® and has MagmaSoft® solidification and filling process simulation resources. These tools subsidize the activities of a technical team prepared to work in partnership with its customers’ engineering, exploring solutions in terms of geometry, sanity and reliability.
